How we test
- Items written in the language by a native linguist, never translated from English
- Script and register: Cyrillic script
- A proctored retest on new items, then a recorded work sample reviewed by a native speaker

- Rate Bulgarian answers for accuracy, grammar and tone
- Catch Russian or Macedonian forms in Bulgarian text
- Write and edit Bulgarian prompt–response pairs
